Verizon Center Debuts First True Indoor High-Definition LED Scoreboard at the Washington Capitals First Home Preseason Game
(Purchase, New York, October 1, 2007)- ANC Sports Enterprises unveiled the first true indoor high-definition LED center-hung scoreboard on Tuesday, September 25 during the Washington Capitals first home preseason game at the Verizon Center.
Highlighted on local television broadcasts and in local newspapers, the center-hung structure features four high-definition Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision™ 6mm video screens measuring 14 feet, 5 inches high by 25 feet, 2 inches wide.
ANC Sports installed and will operate the revolutionary signage system that includes two new levels of LED fascia, corner LED displays and the center-hung structure. In addition to the high-definition screens, the center-hung features four 10mm 5 foot, 3 inch high by 25 foot 6 inch wide LED video matrixes and two 20mm LED rings. The four 10mm video matrixes feature images with clarity found on many primary arena video screens around the country, creating an incredible visual structure with the high-definition displays that exhibit over 68 billion colors.
The Verizon Center will become the first arena to exclusively feature Diamond Vision™ LED displays driven by ANC Sports' patent pending VisionSOFT operating system. ANC Sports partnered with Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision Systems to create the LED signage system.

Operated through ANC's unique VisionSOFT software application, the signage system is capable of exhibiting separate game prompts, live action, video playback, statistics and 3D animation in real time to build an energetic environment throughout the building.
Through a multi-year agreement with Washington Sports & Entertainment, ANC Sports will create statistical templates, sponsor content and team animations for the entire signage system.
