ANC Sports VisionSOFT Software to Operate Air Canada Centre’s New LED System

(Purchase, NY July 31, 2008) ANC Sports Enterprises has partnered with Mitsubishi Electric to operate the newest LED technology at the Air Canada Centre with the company’s patent-pending VisionSOFT operating system.
The Air Canada Centre, home of the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs and the NBA’s Toronto Raptors will debut a new 17-screen scoreboard featuring a cutting-edge Diamond Vision™ high-definition display system for the 2008-09 season.
Operated through ANC’s unique VisionSOFT software application, the signage system will be capable of displaying uncompressed video across all its displays, creating the clearest image possible.

VisionSOFT will exhibit separate game prompts, statistics and 3D animation in real time to build an energetic environment throughout the building. In addition to operating the technology, ANC will create dynamic visuals through a multi-year graphic design partnership with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.
Mitsubishi Electric is using 10mm display technology for the eight-sided upper displays and four-sided scoring displays as well as the 72-foot long circular ring. Mitsubishi Electric is also supplying a new integrated scoring system consisting of all new shot clocks.
The new display system will provide the Air Canada Centre, its Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors fans with the most advanced video screens of any arena in Canada. Toronto fans can expect the new display system to be competed by August 1, 2008 in time for the upcoming NHL and NBA seasons.
