ANC Sports Installs Display System for New Intrust Arena

(Purchase, New York, January 4, 2010) – ANC Sports Enterprises has completed the installation of a light emitting diode (LED) Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision® display system for the January 4, 2010 Grand Opening of the new Intrust Arena, in Wichita, KS.
The installation continues ANC’s growth into developing high-definition signage solutions for new facility construction projects, which has included major projects such as Major League Baseball’s Nationals Park in Washington DC.
The center-hung scoreboard features four 10mm Diamond Vision video screens measuring 8.5 feet high by 16 feet wide and four 20mm informational and advertising matrix measuring 7.5 feet high by 16 feet wide. The entire arena bowl will be animated with a 360 degree 834 foot LED ribbon which will feature full motion graphics, real-time statistics, advertisements and other event information. Additionally, the box office is highlighted by a 30 foot 16mm Diamond Vision LED video screen.

Driven by ANC's patent-pending VisionSOFT operating system, the LED signage system will exhibit live video, separate event prompts, sponsorships and statistics or dissolve into a single animation such as the Wichita Thunder, the city’s Central Hockey League team, logo appearing throughout the entire arena bowl.
Intrust Arena is home to 15,000 seats, 20 suites, two party suites, 40 loge boxes, a club lounge and party room, and two concourses. The venue will host indoor sports events, concerts, family shows and a variety of other events organized by SMG Management.
