ANC Sports to Debut Field Level Perimeter Signage with Seattle Sounders FC
Qwest Field first to feature Diamond Vision field level 16mm outdoor surface mount LED
(Purchase, NY January 23, 2009) - ANC Sports Enterprises was selected to provide the Seattle Sounders FC with a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision field level light emitting diode system when the team plays its inaugural Major League Soccer season in March, 2009 at Qwest Field.
Through a multiyear agreement, ANC Sports will install, operate and create content for the LED system, which will surround approximately 460 feet of the field perimeter including one sideline and endlines. The Sounders FC will become the first professional team to feature a 16mm outdoor surface mount Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision LED display at field level.
The new Diamond Vision field perimeter signage system expands ANC's line of state-of-the-art playing surface digtial signage products. ANC was the first to debut the DLP® Digital Courtside Sigange System in the National Basketball Association.

ANC Sports will operate the signage through Qwest Field’s existing VisionSOFT system, which currently controls the stadium’s LED fascia displays during Seattle Seahawks home games and other live events. ANC's patent-pending VisionSOFT interface will enable the field perimeter signage and the existing fascia system to instantaneously synchronize, delivering single uncompressed images or multiple graphics throughout the stadium.

ANC Design, a division of ANC Sports Enterprises will create all the content to be featured on the field level perimeter signage, including sponsor graphics, statistical templates and team animations. A common feature in European soccer, the Sounders FC will become the second MLS team to feature a field level LED system.
