State Farm Expands College Backboard Program into NBA with ANC Sports
(Purchase, New York, October 29, 2007) - ANC Sports Enterprises today announced a sponsorship program that positions State Farm Insurance on the framework behind the backboards of 15 teams in the National Basketball Association throughout the 2007-08 season.
The NBA has approved signage on the basket stanchion arm for the upcoming season, a concept conceived by ANC Sports for State Farm during the 2006-07 NCAA basketball season.
State Farm, the exclusive NCAA advertiser of the prime sports real estate last season has expanded into the NBA to become the most dominant backboard sponsor in basketball. The signage is featured on live broadcasts and in game highlights on regional and national sports news programs.
The NBA required ANC's original NCAA backboard signs to be modified to meet specific dimensions. The new signage is an approximately four feet long padded sleeve and is wrapped around the basket stanchion support arm, which runs perpendicular to the backboard and parallel to the floor. ANC is producing the signs on behalf of the teams working with State Farm.

State Farm's basket profile program includes signage with Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Portland Trial Blazers, San Antonio Spurs, Sacramento Kings, Seattle Supersonics, and Toronto Raptors.
