(Purchase, New York April 28, 2010) – ANC Sports Enterprises' new 99-feet wide by 11-feet high Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision™ LED video scoreboard at Safeco Field was featured on ESPN.com (view video here) with Major League Baseball reporter Jim Caple.
The Safeco Field LED scoreboard captures a piece of baseball nostalgia, appearing as an old out-of-town scoreboard, however featuring detailed information such as scores of games in progress, current pitchers, batters, outs and runners on base from around the league.
Driven by ANC Sports' patent-pending VisionSoft™ operating system, the signage will update information utilizing a new animated function whereas the statistics will appear to slide out and be replaced the same way old scoreboards were manually updated. However, unlike its older predecessors, the state-of-the-art 1,100 square feet screen at Safeco Field will also seamlessly transition to dynamic content, such as full-motion team graphics, animations such as "Let's Hear It", and sponsor acknowledgements in conjunction with real-time statistics.
VisionSOFT is the first operating system capable of animating real-time statistical data that replaces scores in this traditional visually appealing and entertaining process. The scoreboard at Safeco Field also features special features such as red numbers when teams are scoring and detailed statistics such as full game line scores, how many home runs were hit, what happened on the last play, among numerous other league-wide information.
