ANC Sports Installs New Rose Garden Center-Hung Scoreboard

(Purchase, New York, October 19, 2007) - While the Portland Trail Blazers have transformed into one of the most exciting upcoming NBA teams on the court, ANC Sports Enterprises is revolutionizing the experience off the court at the Rose Garden.

ANC Sports installed and is operating a new center-hung scoreboard with four 15 feet high by 22.5 feet wide light emitting diode (LED) video screens. The full color displays seamlessly transition from live video and replays to real-time statistics and game animations. ANC partnered with Mitsubishi Electric and CBS Outdoor to complete the LED renovation.

The new center-hung structure also features four corner wedge LED matrixes measuring 14 feet 7 inches high. The top of the wedges are 4 feet 2 inches wide, while the bottom narrows to 2 feet 1 inch wide. The wedges highlight team and arena sponsors and animated images in conjunction with the large video screens to create a unique experience every night. Two approximately 2 feet 7 inches high LED rings sit beneath the giant video screens and corner matrixes displaying real-time information, full motion crowd prompts and video advertising.

"We are committed to entertaining our fans with exciting basketball and premier in-game entertainment," said J. E. Isaac, senior vice president, business affairs of the Portland Trail Blazers. "Expanding our partnership with ANC in creating our center-hung structure generates even more energy throughout the arena, building a formidable home court advantage."

In 2005, the Portland Trail Blazers became the first NBA team to feature ANC's DLP® Courtside Digital Signage System, the first system approved by the league. Through ANC's patent pending VisionSOFT interface, the courtside signage and new center-hung structure are capable of instantaneously synchronizing, delivering a single uncompressed image or multiple graphics to every seat in the arena.

"The Trail Blazers have consistently demonstrated the desire to provide their fans with the most innovative game enhancing technology," said Jerry Cifarelli, president and chief executive officer of ANC Sports Enterprises. "We are excited to enhance our relationship with the team, creating an emotional arena atmosphere at the Rose Garden through our state-of-the-art signage systems."

The Rose Garden is the third professional sports arena to receive a major ANC LED renovation this fall. ANC also completed center-hung scoreboard renovations at the Sommet Center, home of the Nashville Predators and Verizon Center, home of the Washington Capitals and Wizards in September.
