ANC Sports Opens 2009 MLB Season with New Agreements

ANC launches new marketing, rotational and LED signage projects

(Purchase, New York April 8, 2009) – ANC Sports Enterprises leads off the 2009 baseball season with new multiyear marketing campaigns, rotational agreements and LED systems.

We are excited to begin the 2009 season with new and renewed partnerships throughout Major League Baseball,” said Jerome Cifarelli, president and chief executive officer of ANC Sports Enterprises. “We look forward to building our partners' brands through integrated sponsorship and signage programs while delivering premium in-game entertainment through our state-of-the-art LED signage and graphic solutions.”

ANC Sports continued to expand its leadership position in MLB, where the company has signage equipment at 16 of the 30 stadiums and marketing programs with 27 teams. ANC's LED manufacturer Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision Systems also played a starring role to begin the season, installing a 1080 high-definition video screen measuring 58.79' high by 100.79' wide at the new Yankee Stadium.

The new Diamond Vision™ video screen is the most advanced in sports, featuring over 8 million LED's and an active viewing area of 5,925 square-feet. The Yankees display will provide entertainment and real-time statistics with the flexibility to show up to four 1080 HD images simultaneously.

The Yankees also open the new ballpark with a State Farm Neighborhood in the outfield seats, a concept developed by ANC Sports Marketing. The multiyear program is highlighted by televised signage and a State Farm branded section in left field. State Farm will use the designated area to engage the Northeast region through various activation programs, such as giveaways and promotions. ANC has also placed State Farm with 19 other MLB teams throughout the country while creating sponsorship programs for partners such as Lumber Liquidators, Monroe Shocks, Subway, AutoTrader.com, among numerous others.

ANC Sports Marketing, on behalf of Major League Baseball International also sold sponsorship programs within the World Baseball Classic.  One of ANC's partners, Hankook Tire, benefited from the first ever 3-D sign application within a Major League Baseball sanctioned game.

In addition to the marketing programs, ANC begins the season with new multiyear signage equipment agreements with the Boston Red Sox, New York Mets and Yankees. ANC Sports was selected as the official rotational signage provider by all three teams and will operate home plate and baseline systems throughout the season at Citi Field, Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium. The Mets also selected ANC to install 100 backlit modules in the concourse at Citi Field.

ANC grew its LED presence in MLB as well, expanding the company's relationship with the Red Sox by adding approximately 30 feet of new Diamond Vision LED fascia to the company’s existing system at Fenway Park. ANC will create the content for all the LED fascia signage, which will be operated through the company’s patent-pending VisionSOFT operating system.

As part of ANC’s turnkey team and venue services, ANC Design will supply dynamic LED content for six MLB teams. Additionally, Stubhub has retained ANC Design to develop motion graphics for 13 MLB ballpark sponsorship activation campaigns during the 2009 season.
