Malik Khan | Vice President, Project Management
Malik has more than ten years experience in project management, specializing in sports signage operation and construction. Currently, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s Project Management Division, including pre-award cost estimating, ongoing project supervision, staff assignment, vendor coordination, and subcontractor evaluation. Malik is also responsible for leading the deployment of ANC’s patent-pending VisionSOFT operating system for all the company’s installations featuring Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision displays.
After joining ANC in 2002 as a field technician, Malik played pivotal roles in many of the company’s first LED installation projects that included both ribbon systems and video screens, such as M&T Bank Stadium, Target Center and Quicken Loans Arena. He has also spearheaded the installations at some of the company’s highest profile projects, such as the construction of the new Nationals Park in Washington DC and the high-definition renovation of the Verizon Center. Some of the additional projects which Malik has worked on include AT&T Park, Bridgestone Arena, Scope Arena, and Arizona State University.
Eric Gruner | Senior Project Manager
Responsible for on-site supervision of all work related to the installation of ANC products, and the management of the on-site spare parts inventory.
Since joining the Project Team, he has managed the LED installation projects at ANC's high-profile venues such as: Fenway Park, Verizon Center, Mohegan Sun Arena, Office Depot Center, M&T Bank Stadium, Quicken Loans Arena, Target Center, AT&T Park, Wachovia Center, Comerica Park, Sommet Center, Giants Stadium, Oriole Park at Camden Yards and more. Eric works closely with the team, sub-contractors, and suppliers to insure that the installation runs smoothly, on time, and on budget. His responsibilities include organizing submittal information for approval by the client, producing and implementing the day to day installation schedule, and supervising the on-site work until completion. Eric works closely with display manufacturers to ensure that the products arrive on schedule, and coordinates work with all subcontractors. He is the main communication point for our clients during an installation.
AJ Faxel | Project Manager
Responsible for on-site and office work related to the installation of ANC-supplied products.
In 2009, AJ became a Project Manager, after gaining experience with the company since 2004. AJ works to ensure the success of every project from beginning to end. For the University of Tennessee scoreboard project, he was on-site for the duration of the installation, ensuring the job was properly handled and installed by sub-contractors. He has contributed to several projects, including: Nationals Park in Washington DC, Boston’s Fenway Park, Orioles Park at Camden Yards, and led the project installation for Penn State University’s Rec Hall as well as various other projects such as the Seattle Mariners, the University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium and Xavier University.
Jason Norris | Director of Systems Development
Responsible for the upgrade and repair of all ANC Sports operating software.
A board-certified engineer, Jason has been part of the team that has developed the most innovative and user friendly operating systems for LED display systems. He is also in charge of making sure each deployment of this software package is up to date and working at peak performance. He is ultimately responsible for the performance of our LED servers.
Jeff Paulson | Manager, Technical Support & Services
Responsible for overseeing 24-hour service call center.
Jeff has been with ANC since 1999, when he was our field technician in Atlanta, responsible for operating and servicing rotational and LED systems at Philips Arena and Turner Field. He has since taken over the responsibility of making sure that no matter what the problem or what time the fix is needed, all of our North American clients have a service technician on call. Jeff also develops the technical manuals for ANC’s software products and trains service technicians all over North America.
